Serenity Beach in Puducherry’s

Serenity beach is a sand beach located in Kottakuppam, Viluppuram district, Tamil nadu. So, serenity beach is also called as Kottakuppam beach found in between Auroville beach and Promenade beach. The geographical location of Kottakuppam is surrounded by Puducherry district on the eastern coastal side, which only takes 20 minutes to travel from the centre of puducherry. Just like the name, this beach is considered to be a serene place because, it is quarantined from noise and air pollution, free from crowds and mainly used for fishing and sightseeing.

This beach is a natural sand beach with a man-made jetty called “Tide breakers” and “Stone bridge” at the southern and northern side respectively, where you can fell the cool zephyr wind in the evening.

This is the centre of attraction for foreign tourists and people who love surfing on the sea where you can find Mother ocean surf school for surf’s training and surf boards are also available for rent. Mother ocean surf school is opened on all days between 7.00 AM and 5.00 PM. Parasailing and surfing zealots must visit this beach when they come to puducherry. Like other beaches on the outskirt, serenity beach also have resorts, hotels, restaurants and cafés and so forth.

Serenity beach bazzar is a weekend local market to cover the hearts of tourist and native people also. Here, you can find hand-made handicrafts, apparel, garments, flip-flops and so on.

This is an amusing place for scenic photographers to take pictures of nature at the sea side as well as land side. You can see sea birds like seagulls, gannets, pelicans, and tropic birds and aquatic creatures like crab, snail, sea turtles and so on.
